Stewart Could Be Back in Town Next Month - Ipswich Town News

Town legend Marcus Stewart could be back at Portman Road next month having taken a job with another of his old clubs, Town’s Capital One Cup opponents Bristol Rovers.

Stewart, who played for the Pirates between 1991 and 1996, has been appointed development coach at the Memorial Stadium, where he will largely be working with players aged 18-21.

The 39-year-old had previously been coaching at Exeter, the final club of his playing career.

Bristol Rovers are at Portman Road for the Capital One Cup first round tie on Tuesday 14th August.
