Bullard Still Very Much in First Team Plans - Ipswich Town News
Town boss Paul Jewell says midfielder Jimmy Bullard is still very much in his first team plans, despite the 33-year-old having been in the reserves side which beat Braintree 1-0 on Tuesday rather than the senior team which won 2-0 at Cambridge last night.
Jewell said: "I wanted to give most people 90 minutes and I thought that was the best way to do it. I wanted to have a look at a different system [at Cambridge].
"People can read too much into it. Jimmy played a full game last Thursday, half a game on the Tuesday and he’s a part of our squad like everybody.”
