Jewell Again Impressed By Luongo - Ipswich Town News
Blues boss Paul Jewell was again full of praise for new loan signing Massimo Luongo after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Luton. The Tottenham man, who will be with the Blues for the season, impressed at Kenilworth Road, having similarly been a stand-out performer at Cambridge on Wednesday.
Jewell said: "He’s a class player. I think he found it a little bit quicker than he did on Wednesday. That’s his second game at a level he’s probably not used to.
"But I think as he gets to know us and the tempo we work at, he’ll pick up the game. You can see he’s got a lovely touch on the ball and he understands the game.”
