Open Training Day Next Week - Ipswich Town News
After the success of a similar event last year, Town are holding an open training day at Portman Road on Friday 10th August (10am — 3pm). More than 2,000 fans attended last year’s free-to-enter day where fans could watch manager Paul Jewell and his coaches put the squad through their paces.
This year’s main feature will again be a full training session on the main pitch, followed by a signing session.
In addition, there will be freestyle demonstrations, an F1 simulator, a parkour demonstration by Escape Reality and a band, as well as various stands, while 20 Junior Blues will be put through their paces by two Town coaches on the Field Turf. Further details from the club later in the week.
