Drury to Miss Colchester Clash - Ipswich Town News
Midfielder Andy Drury has been ruled out of the Blues’ final pre-season friendly at Colchester on Wednesday due to the calf problem he suffered at Southend last Tuesday (KO 7.45pm). The 28-year-old missed Saturday’s 3-1 victory over West Ham due to the injury.
Lee Martin, who was rested at half-time against the Hammers having missed much of pre-season with a thigh injury, is in the squad, along with midfielder Cheick Kourouma, whose signing is still being held up by red tape.
Town are likely to start with the same XI which began Saturday's match against West Ham.
Former Blue Tom Eastman is likely to be in the Colchester line-up.
Fans travelling to the game are advised to buy tickets in advance and to use the free shuttle buses to the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
