Town boss Paul Jewell has named his expected strongest available side for tonight's Capital One Cup first round tie against Bristol Rovers at Portman Road.
The Blues appear likely to be lining up 4-4-2 with Jason Scotland up front alongside Michael Chopra. One-time Pirate Nathan Ellington is on the Town bench alongside Northern Irish U19 international midfielder Cormac Burke, who has been handed the number 32 shirt, in the senior squad for the first time.
Bristol Rovers include Chelsea keeper Sam Walker, who signed on loan today, who played for Northampton at Portman Road in the Carling Cup last year and is a Town supporter. Full match preview here.
