U18s Get League Season Under Way Against Swansea - Ipswich Town News
Town get their U18 Professional Development League Two season under way on Saturday morning with a home game against Swansea at Playford Road (KO 11am).
The Blues play their first game in the new U21s Professional Development League Two on Monday against the Swans at their training ground at Stebonheath with an 11am kick off.
Both leagues are a result of the EPPP reorganisation of youth football which took place this summer with Town playing all the other southern-based Category Two academies.
Meanwhile, former academy full-back or midfielder Aaron Jones (pictured) has joined his local club, The Ryman League Premier Division side Lowestoft Town. Jones was released at the end of last season.
