Edwards Set to Return at Boro - Ipswich Town News
Town skipper Carlos Edwards expects to be over the groin injury which saw him miss the Huddersfield game in time for the away match at Middlesbrough a week on Saturday.
Edwards told the club site: "I was disappointed to miss Saturday’s game but the injury is on the mend and I should be back in training very soon.
"I did the groin early against Carlisle and I knew it was bad straight away. I carried on for another couple of minutes but every time I kicked the ball I felt some discomfort and I told the gaffer straight away. The last thing I wanted to do was make the injury worse.”
Meanwhile, the club continue to wait for confirmation that French midfielder Cheick Kourouma's move went through OK on deadline day.
