N'Daw in U21 Squad Facing Cardiff - Ipswich Town News

New loan signing Guirane N’Daw has been included in the squad for Friday’s U21 game against Cardiff City at Playford Road (KO 11am). Like Elliott Hewitt, who has also been confirmed in the squad, N’Daw will be making his first appearance in a Town shirt.

N’Daw, along with Nathan Ellington, will be amongst the three overage players clubs are allowed to field. Youngsters Ronan Murray, Joe Whight, Byron Lawrence and Mark Timlin are also in the squad.

Friday’s game is Town’s first at home in the newly-formed U21 Professional Development League Two South.

Their only match so far was the 2-1 defeat at Swansea, Ellington, who we understand was close to joining Notts County on trial a month ago, scoring the Blues’ goal.
