Mohsni Training With Birmingham - Ipswich Town News

Former Blues trialist Bilel Mohsni is set to train with Birmingham City as the versatile Southend man continues his search for a new club. The 25-year-old’s chances of joining Town ended when he refused the chance to spend a second week on trial at Playford Road.

Speaking on Thursday, Town manager Paul Jewell said: "We wanted to see a bit more because we felt he hadn’t been tested and he wasn’t prepared to do that. Southend were, but the lad wasn’t and I think he’s gone back to Paris. That's over now.”

Birmingham reportedly need to move a player on in order to afford Mohsni on loan with a view to a permanent deal in January.
