Pezzoni Back in Germany and Waiting on Town Decision - Ipswich Town News
Trialist Kevin Pezzoni is back in Germany and is still to hear Town’s decision on whether he will be offered a contract at Portman Road.
The ex-FC Köln man was with the Blues between Tuesday and Thursday last week as he looks for a new side having been hounded out of his previous club by violent fans.
A source close to the player says the former Germany U21 international is yet to learn whether he did enough to impress Blues manager Paul Jewell and his staff: "He is waiting to hear a decision from the club.”
Jewell wouldn’t comment one way or the other regarding the free agent after Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Middlesbrough, saying he would speak about the situation later in the week with his pre-match press conference ahead of the Wolves game on Tuesday.
