Burley Confirms Sukur Bid - Ipswich Town News
Town manager George Burley has confirmed that he has made a bid to take Inter Milan's Turkish international striker Hakan Sukur on loan. Earlier TWTD rather scathingly reported that Sukur had denied knowledge of a Town approach.
A Town statement this evening said simply: "Ipswich Town Manager George Burley today confirmed that he has made formal enquiries about taking 30-year-old forward Hakan Sukur on loan from FC Inter Milan."
