Higginbotham Joins On Loan - Ipswich Town News
Stoke's Danny Higginbotham has joined the Blues on a one-month loan. TWTD reported that the 33-year-old was on Town boss Paul Jewell's wish-list of potential additions a fortnight ago.
Jewell said: "We have been trying to add to our options at the back for a while and Danny has been on our radar through the summer.
"He will bring a wealth of experience to the squad and we’re obviously delighted to have him with us.”
Jewell confirmed in January that he had tried to sign the one-time Derby, Southampton and Sunderland man on loan during that transfer window prior to him joining Nottingham Forest on a similar spell.
The 6ft 1in tall former Manchester United trainee will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's game at home to Charlton.
