Chambers: Fans Entitled to Their Say - Ipswich Town News
Luke Chambers has no problem with supporters voicing their disapproval at Ipswich’s disappointing start to the season.
Asked if he can understand fans’ frustration, he replied: "Of course I can. When you lose games the fans are not going to be happy. They’ve got every right to voice their opinions.
"Our supporters pay a lot of money to come and watch us play so if we’re not doing what they are after they are entitled to. We can only do our best as players — and we’ve been doing our best up to when it comes to putting the ball in the back of the net.
"At the level we are playing at we can’t afford to miss the chances we are creating. If you do there are players in every team in this division who can punish you with one chance.
"We just have to stay focused, keep doing what we have been doing and get that first goal. Then it should be a case of not even trying to hang on to it but pushing for a second.
"I believe that if the first one goes in there is a chance that we can beat teams by three or four goals.”
