Mohsni Out to Keep Temper in Check - Ipswich Town News

New Blues loan signing Bilel Mohsni has vowed to keep his infamous temper in check as he looks to make an impact at Portman Road, having joined on a three-month loan from Southend last week.

The 25-year-old Frenchman was booked 19 times and sent off on three occasions in two seasons with the Shrimpers and was close to being red-carded in a pre-season friendly against the Blues. On a couple of occasions he took the train back from games alone.

"It is more frustration,” he told Radio Suffolk.”I'm a bad loser. My temper comes when I lose When I make a mistake I beat myself up a lot. But I have to work on it and it will be fine."

The versatile Mohsni says he’s willing to play anywhere as long as he can establish himself in Paul Jewell’s side and win himself a longer-term deal: "Maybe he could put me in as a striker. Maybe he needs a centre-back.

"We chatted together. I said 'some people want me right-wing, left-wing, central midfield'. I'm happy in any position. It's just better to be in the starting 11 than on the bench.

"When I came to Southend I was a centre-back. And then after some injuries I scored a lot of goals in training so the manager asked if I could play striker. I said 'no, but if you need it why not?'."
