Pulis Happy to Help Higginbotham to Join Blues - Ipswich Town News
Stoke boss Tony Pulis says he will do everything he can to help loanee defender Danny Higginbotham to join the Blues permanently. The 33-year-old’s initial one-month loan spell at Portman Road is due to end after Tuesday’s home game against his old club Derby County.
Pulis says he’ll not stand in Higginbotham’s way if the clubs can agree terms on a deal with the former Manchester United trainee’s Potters contract up at the end of the season: "If both parties are happy and we can get a deal done, we will get the deal done.
"We will do everything in our power to help those who have been good for us, and Danny certainly has been good for us."
Both the player and Town manager Paul Jewell have previously said they would like to extend the centre-half's stay.
