Bruce Backs Jewell to Turn Town Around - Ipswich Town News
Hull City boss Steve Bruce backed his Town counterpart Paul Jewell to turn things around at Portman Road.
Bruce says he’s well aware of how Jewell must be feeling having been in a similar position at his former club Sunderland: "It was only this time last year that I was there. We all know what he’s going through. He’s always been resilient.
"I hope he sticks with it, he’s a good man, a real football man. He needs to dig deep like he’s always done.
"He’ll turn it around. If there’s anybody who I’m sure can turn it around it’s Paul because I’ve got a lot of respect for him and what he’s done in his career. He’s a good man.”
