Commons Praise for Town - Ipswich Town News
Town are receiving praise for their exploits in Europe in the House of Commons. An early day motion by Ivan Henderson, MP for Harwich, asks that the House recognises the club and supporters for the UEFA Cup run so far and sends best wishes for the tie with Inter.
Tony Blair also wished the Blues all the best in Europe, saying: "Inter are one of the giants of European football, but after watching Ipswich's battling performances in the first two rounds, there are plenty of other sides they would preferred to have faced."
