Magilton Backing McCarthy - Ipswich Town News
Former manager and captain Jim Magilton has sent his good wishes to incoming Blues boss Mick McCarthy. Magilton was in the job from 2006 until 2009.
The Northern Irishman tweeted: "Good luck to Mick, like to wish him well! He will appreciate the values and traditions of the club. Back to basics! Hard to beat!”
As reported yesterday, McCarthy's appointment is set to be formally announced at a Portman Road press conference today.
