Burley Speaks Out - Ipswich Town News
George Burley has added his voice to those speaking out against recent rumour-mongers. John Wark and Fabian Wilnis have already declared the various stories circulating rubbish and now the Town boss has had his say.
Burley said of Marcus Stewart's injury: "I was standing two yards away when Pablo kicked Marcus Stewart's chin during a five-a-side training ground game last Saturday. Ipswich is a small town and I hear many of the rumours myself. These are just not true. Some taxi drivers appear to know more about that is going on than we do. The spirit in the camp is excellent - there is no doubt about that."
