Town Confirm Ellington's Scunthorpe Move - Ipswich Town News
Town have confirmed that striker Nathan Ellington has joined League One Scunthorpe on loan, as revealed by TWTD yesterday.
The 31-year-old, who has made two sub appearances for the Blues this season, has joined the Iron until January 5th.
Ellington is contracted to Town until next summer having joined the Blues after being released by Watford in the summer of 2011.
Since then the Bradford-born striker has made only three starts for Town — just one in the league — in addition to 16 sub appearances.
Ellington is in the Scunthorpe squad for Saturday's home game with Notts County, coincidentally a club he came close to joining in the summer.
