U21s Thrashed at Millwall - Ipswich Town News
A young Town U21 side lost 5-1 to Millwall at the Den this afternoon, Jack Ainsley netting the Blues’ goal. For the home team, Dany N'Guessan netted a hat-trick and Conor Wilkinson two.
An experienced Lions side, which included Maik Taylor, Therry Racon and Karleigh Osborne as well as N'Guessan, went in front in the second minute via Wilkinson with Ainsley equalising on 14.
N'Guessan put the home team back in front in the 21st minute with his first of the afternoon before three goals in 10 minutes late in the second half. Wilkinson grabbed his second on 77 before N'Guessan added his second and third in the 85th and 87th minutes.
Meanwhile, academy schoolboy Cemal Ramadan, a striker, is set to play for the Republic of Ireland U16s in the first of two friendlies against Estonia in Dublin tomorrow afternoon.
