Wolves manager Ståle Solbakken has dismissed speculation that striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will be leaving Molineux in January. Town, managed by Mick McCarthy, who signed the 26-year-old during his time in charge of the Midlanders, was recently claimed to be a possible destination for the ex-Manchester United and Plymouth man, whose contract is up at the end of the season.
However, Solbakken says he has a lot of time for the striker, who has scored seven times in 23 games so far this season: "He's been unlucky in front of goal but he's been working harder than ever, his attitude is 100 per cent - on and off the pitch he's been superb.
"Even when he hasn't been playing, he's been encouraging the other players and been very positive. So I'm not thinking about him [leaving] - I was thinking more generally, and not anyone in particular."
