Higginbotham Joins Blades - Ipswich Town News
Danny Higginbotham, whose loan with the Blues from Stoke ended on Saturday, has joined League One Sheffield United on a free transfer, signing an initial contract until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old, who has made his debut for the Blades today at Doncaster this afternoon, was set to extend his spell with the Blues, but preferred the switch to Bramall Lane where he is more likely to play regularly and which is nearer to his family home.
