Mings in Premier Cup Squad - Ipswich Town News

New left-back Tyrone Mings will make his first appearance in a Town shirt in Tuesday’s Suffolk Premier Cup quarter-final at Felixstowe and Walton United (KO 7.45pm).

Mings joined the Blues from non-league Chippenham Town last month and would have made his debut at Aston Villa on Saturday had he not already been cup-tied.

Keeper Arran Lee-Barrett, midfielder Josh Carson and Joe Whight, who seems likely to be at centre-half if Mings is at left-back, are also set to feature in a reserves squad mainly made up of academy scholars.
