Nouble Delighted to Join Town - Ipswich Town News

New striker Frank Nouble says he's delighted to have joined Town from Wolves and says manager Mick McCarthy and his assistant Terry Connor were big factors in his decision to move to Portman Road. The 21-year-old signed an 18-month contract earlier today, the clubs having agreed an undisclosed fee.

Nouble said: "I’m delighted to be here and looking forward to playing for such a good club as Ipswich.

"I trained this morning and the enthusiasm that the manager and Terry have for the game is fantastic.

"They were big factors in me coming here. Mick McCarthy was interested in me when I was at West Ham and I worked with Terry for a while after joining Wolves in the summer. They are two people who have a lot of respect in the game.

"I know it’s going to be a battle to get in the side but I’m relishing the challenge and can’t wait to get going here.”
