Win a Placement at Town - Ipswich Town News

Schoolchildren in Years 10 and 11 have the chance to spend four days on a work experience placement at Town via What’s Your Goal 2013, a nationwide scheme designed to inspire young people to explore careers in the football industry.

What’s Your Goal 2013 gives youngsters a chance to win a placement as a community manager, community coach, groundsman, ticket office manager or even a stadium manager

In partnership with the Football League Trust, npower is supporting young people’s future employment opportunities by showcasing the opportunities available within football and showing that you can make your mark within the industry without being a star player.

As well as the placements, npower is also offering the nation’s youngsters the chance to win the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to spend the day being mentored by an expert in the world of football.

Children in Years 7 to 11 are invited to apply for the chance to gain first-hand experience of working life by spending time with a high profile expert. Only 11 positions are up for grabs with one of last year’s winners spending a day with Robbie Savage as a football pundit.

The deadline for entry deadline is Friday 1st March with further details and how to enter here.
