Taylor Rebailed - Ipswich Town News
Town striker Paul Taylor and a woman believed to be his girlfriend have been rebailed until March 1st having been arrested in November. The pair were released on police bail until today in relation to an incident at the Robert Ransome pub in the town centre in October.
Back in November, police said in a statement: "Two people have been arrested following an assault in an Ipswich town centre pub.
"The incident happened on Tuesday 16th October at approximately 12.15am within a pub in Tower Street.
"Two male members of staff within the premises were assaulted. One victim suffered a broken rib and the other a fractured eye socket and a broken finger.
"A 25-year-old man from Ipswich and a 24-year-old woman from Liverpool were both arrested on Tuesday 20th November on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and taken to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre.
"The man and woman have been released on police bail pending further enquiries and will return to the Martlesham Police Investigation Centre on 16th January 2013.”
Taylor joined Town from Peterborough United for an initial £1.5 million in the summer, suffering a foot injury in only his third game which required surgery and is expected to keep him out of action for the rest of the season.
