Stein Confirms No Deal for Trialist Isaac - Ipswich Town News

Banbury United boss Edwin Stein has confirmed that Blues trialist Kynan Isaac has returned to the Evo-Stik Southern League Premier Division club and that, as we reported on Wednesday, Town will not be taking their interest any further.

However Stein, brother of former Blues loanee Mark, says the 20-year-old winger may get the chance to impress other sides: "Ipswich have sent him back to us. They are not going to offer him anything, but a number of other clubs, who shall remain nameless, are really interested in his future.

"We’re really pleased to have him back, because he is our spark. But when he goes for another trial, I would like to play him in matches rather than training games.”

Isaac’s only match while with the Blues was Monday’s 2-1 U21s victory over Charlton’s second string at their Sparrows Lane training ground.

Meanwhile, sources close to Lee Camp are reported to have said that the Nottingham Forest keeper is keen to speak to the Blues, having been told he can find another club after failing to agree terms on a new deal with his contract up at the end of the season.

However, discussions are understood to have already taken place with the Blues and other interested parties, Norwich City, Reading and Hull City also having been linked.

Camp, who worked with Blues keeper-coach Malcolm Webster at Derby during former Blues boss George Burley’s time in charge at Pride Park, is negotiating a settlement of the remaining months of his Forest contract and will be available on a free transfer.
