Former Blues loanee DJ Campbell has said it was a pleasure to play for Town. The 31-year-old is set to join another club on a three-year deal from QPR with Crystal Palace and Hull City both having confirmed their interest.
Campbell tweeted: "To all Ipswich fans it was a pleasure to play for Ipswich! It’s a shame I couldn't stay long-term but I truly wish you all the best. God bless you all.”
The striker scored 10 goals in a 17-game, three-month loan spell at Portman Road.
