Peters on Trial at Whitecaps - Ipswich Town News
Former Blue Jaime Peters has joined MLS side the Vancouver Whitecaps on trial back in his native Canada. The 25-year-old was released by Town last summer and since then has spent time on trial at Leyton Orient and Yeovil, where he was on loan earlier in his career.
His fellow Canadian and ex-Town team-mate Jason De Vos, these days a TV pundit and columnist, says the winger or full-back didn’t make the most of his ability during his seven years at Portman Road, tweeting: "Jaime Peters - loads of talent and athleticism.
"Struggled for consistency at Ipswich, fell in with the wrong crowd, a poor influence on him.
"Peters is young enough to turn his career around if - and that's a big if - his attitude is 100% professional.”
