Dundee Keen to Take Scotland Back to Scotland - Ipswich Town News
Dundee manager Barry Smith is reported to be keen to take Jason Scotland back north of the border, where he previously played for the Dark Blues’ local rivals Dundee United and St Johnstone.
The 33-year-old frontman’s Town contract was settled over the weekend with Doncaster and Wolves believed to be leading the chase for his signature. Preston, Brighton and Barnsley are also understood to have been monitoring his situation.
Scotland himself says he enjoyed his time with the Blues: "It’s been a privilege and an honour to play for Ipswich Town and I wish everyone associated with the club all the best.”
Elsewhere, the Blues and Burnley are again being linked with Tranmere left-back Zoumana Bakayogo, who was previously mentioned in connection with both clubs and others earlier in the month.
