Karic Can Leave - Burley - Ipswich Town News
Reports today say that Amir Karic has been told by George Burley that he can leave the club. Karic joined for £700,000 from NK Maribor last Autumn, but has made just three appearances as sub since, all in the Worthington Cup last season.
Karic's Slovenians have made the World Cup, but manager George Burley says that Karic has not reached the same standard here: "It is what Amir does for us that counts, and he has not reached the level we had hoped for."
Earlier this season Karic claimed there had been interest from a Serie A club who wanted to take him on loan. At the time George Burley said he had heard nothing along these lines, but that he would accpet reasonable offers for the Slovenian.
