U21s Face Brighton - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U21s are in action against Brighton and Hove Albion at Lancing FC’s Culver Road ground this evening (KO 7pm).
The Blues are likely to name a squad made up of the usual mixture of senior fringe players and academy scholars.
Schoolboy Matthew Clarke was pencilled in for involvement in the U21s for the first time but misses out having suffered a knock. Midfielder or defender Clarke has been a regular in the U18s this season.
The game had initially been scheduled for this afternoon at the Amex Stadium but was switched in order to protect the surface at the Seagulls’ ground.
