Stearman's Wolves Career Might Not Be Over - Ipswich Town News
Wolves manager Dean Saunders says new Blues loan signing Richard Stearman could yet have a future at Molineux. Yesterday, the defender, who has a year left on his Wolves contract, completed a switch to Town until the end of the season.
But Saunders says that that doesn’t necessarily mark the end of the 25-year-old’s time with the Midlanders.
"I’ve told him to get some games in and I’ll watch him play for Ipswich and I’ll make a decision on him in the summer.
"I’ve told him to be prepared to come back here in pre-season,” Saunders said, speaking to the Wolverhampton Express and Star.
"I’ve said to him that I haven’t had a chance to work with him for very long but I’ve got about six players who can play at right-back.
"Richard needs to play some games as he’s not played for a long time. I just felt it was fair and it’s a salary off the wage bill.”
