Orient Winger Going Nowhere - Ipswich Town News
Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade says 19-year-old winger Moses Odubajo won’t be leaving Brisbane Road any time soon. Town, Celtic, Norwich, Southampton, Wigan, Charlton and Brighton are all understood to have been keeping tabs on the Greenwich-born wideman, whose current contract is up in the summer.
Slade told ThisIsLocalLondon he hoping Odubajo will put pen to paper on a new deal: "He’s a Leyton Orient player and he’s doing well for us. There is always going to be interest in your young talented players, as there was with Ryan Allsop.
"Mo’s not going anywhere. We’re trying our best to build a football club here and that's what we intend to do. He’s not signed it yet but we’re hopeful that he will this week.”
Meanwhile, Anthony Wordsworth, whose move from Colchester was finally confirmed yesterday, has been handed the Town number 14 shirt.
