Bowditch Left Out - Ipswich Town News

Youngster Dean Bowditch wasn't involved last night as the England U16s beat Scotland 4-2 at Ross County's Victory Park.

Bowditch had played in the previous three games and manager Martin Hunter praised all of his large squad: "I am very pleased with all of them. We've got a big squad of between 45 and 50 players in this age group and these six games that we have had in the Victory Shield and the Walker's Tournament have given my coaching staff and me the opportunity to have a good look at all of them. It's far too early to start making predictions about how far these players will go because the clubs and we at the FA are working very hard to ensure that they progress in the right way but they have certainly all done well and we can now look forward to next year's tournaments in Montaigu and Ballymena."
