Whight Joins Chelmsford On Loan - Ipswich Town News
Left-back Joe Whight has joined Blue Square Bet South side Chelmsford City on loan for the rest of the season.
The 19-year-old former Copleston High School pupil, whose Town contract is up at the end of June, is yet to make a first team appearance for the Blues, although he has been on the bench on a number of occasions, most recently in January in the FA Cup tie at Aston Villa.
While with Chelmsford, who are managed by ex-Blues midfielder Glenn Pennyfather, Whight will still be able to play for Town’s U21s.
