Wordsworth Makes Full Debut - Ipswich Town News

Anthony Wordsworth makes his full Town debut in this afternoon’s home game against Blackpool. The ex-Colchester man looks likely to start on the left of midfield with Daryl Murphy moving up front and Aaron Mclean dropping to the bench.

The Blues, who still have Scott Loach (sprained thumb) and Lee Martin (hamstring) absent, are otherwise unchanged from last week’s 1-0 defeat at Blackburn.

Blackpool are still waiting for Paul Ince to be confirmed as manager and have caretaker-boss Steve Thompson in charge.

Ince senior’s son Tom is on the bench having been in Nyon, Switzerland yesterday for the FA's appeal regarding the sanctions imposed against him and Tottenham defender Steven Caulker by UEFA relating to the incidents after the England U21 match in Serbia in October. The wideman's one-match ban was upheld. Full match preview here.

Shortly before the kick-off, you can join other Town fans in our chatroom to discuss the match with many listening to the commentary on Radio Suffolk or Ipswich Player.

The chatroom is open to anyone registered on TWTD and match photos will be published there when available. You can find it here and it should work in any browser or on any device.
