Byron Lawrence was on target for Town’s U18s on Saturday but couldn’t prevent the youngsters from falling to a 3-1 defeat at Bristol City. Elsewhere, Town’s U16s defeated Tottenham’s youngsters by the same scoreline.
Meanwhile, Town’s academy coaches spent the weekend being put their paces at Playford Road by Peter Trevivian, the FA’s youth coach educator.
Trevivian has previously been a coach with the Blues youth set-up himself on a number of occasions.
