Smith Called Up - Ipswich Town News
Defender Tommy Smith has been named in the New Zealand squad for their World Cup qualifiers against New Caledonia and the Solomon Islands next month.
The All Whites face the New Caledonians at home on March 22nd and the Solomon Islands away four days later. New Zealand have won all four of their World Cup qualifiers up to now.
Smith is in the running to be named the new permanent All Whites skipper having previously worn the armband in the absence of recently retiring former captain Ryan Nelsen.
