U21s Draw, U18s Lose - Ipswich Town News
Town’s U21s drew 0-0 with QPR at their Harlington training ground this morning, while the Blues’ U18s lost 3-1 to the same opposition at Playford Road.
Republic of Ireland U16 international Cemal Ramadan put the U18s in front early on but the visitors hit back, netting three goals in five minutes either side of half-time.
The U18s included two trialists from academy director Bryan Klug’s former club Tottenham, striker Victor Zapata-Caicedo and midfielder Sam Smith.
U18s: Marsden, Thompson, Robinson, Fowler, Sowunmi, Smith, Willbye, Berkane, Clarke (Galvin), Zapata-Caicedo, Ramadan.
