Murray Nets First Argyle Goal - Ipswich Town News
On-loan striker Ronan Murray netted his first goal for Plymouth as the Pilgrims came from behind to beat Barnet 2-1 at Home Park yesterday. The Irishman, who is with Argyle until the end of the season, was making his fifth start, in addition to two sub appearances, for the side who now sit second bottom of League Two.
Murray, whose Town contract is up at the end of June, followed up after a shot had been blocked three minutes after the break with ex-Town midfielder Conor Hourihane having scored Plymouth’s equaliser on 36.
Elsewhere, Jack Ainsley played the full 90 minutes as Chelmsford City beat Staines 3-1 away in the Blue Square Bet South. Fellow loanee from Town Joe Whight missed out having taken a knock in midweek.
