Wordsworth and Nouble Join New MD at Mulberry Tree on Supporters Day - Ipswich Town News

Recent signings Anthony Wordsworth and Frank Nouble and player liaison officer Simon Milton will join new MD Ian Milne at the Mulberry Tree on Woodbridge Road from 12.15pm until 1pm on Saturday ahead of the game against Bolton. They will be taking questions from fans, signing autographs and having their photographs taken at one of the events at the Supporters Club’s annual Supporters Day.

BBC Radio Suffolk's Life's a Pitch will also be coming live from the Mulberry Tree between noon and 2pm.

After the Blues have, hopefully, sent Bolton Wanderers back to Lancashire having been soundly beaten, there will be further events in Legends in the Sir Alf Ramsey Stand, which will have its opening hours extended until 7pm.

There will be a display from the ITFC Charitable Trust's archive project with memorabilia from Town's history, and a chance to talk to club archivist Pat Godbold, who was secretary to Sir Alf Ramsey, Sir Bobby Robson and George Burley amongst other Blues bosses, and representatives from the archive project.

There will also be the opportunity to meet a current first team player and some ex-players for autographs, and also to pitch your skills against other Town fans on the Wii football game.

The England-Wales rugby union international will be on the big screens, while a number of other events are also planned.

Post-Legends, the Supporters Club plan a night in Ipswich with food and a few drinks. If anyone wants to come along, please contact Liz Edwards at itsc78@btinternet.com in order to book a table. Options include the Dhaka (Indian) and Rios (Brazilian).
