Edwards Misses Out - Ipswich Town News
Skipper Carlos Edwards has revealed he is out of tonight’s game at Nottingham Forest. The Trinidad and Tobago international was considered a doubt due to a groin injury.
Edwards tweeted: "Come on boys, sorry I can't lead [you] out tonight but I'm behind you all the way. "Three points!”
Jay Emmanuel-Thomas looks his likely replacement and if so will be making his first league start under Mick McCarthy.
Loan striker David McGoldrick is also absent as he is unable to play against his parent club with Daryl Murphy expected to come into the starting line-up alongside Michael Chopra. Full match preview here.
