Reading Midfielder Tabb Linked - Ipswich Town News

Town are reported to have made a loan enquiry regarding Reading midfielder Jay Tabb. The 29-year-old is out of contract at the Madejski Stadium in the summer and will not be offered new terms.

The 5ft 7in tall Tooting-born former Ireland U21 international hasn’t featured in the Premier League since December and has previously been mentioned in connection with a move to Blackburn.

Town are said to want the ex-Coventry and Brentford man to initially join on loan with an eye on the switch becoming a full-time deal in the summer.

The Blues recently signed Manchester United’s Reece Brown, who is also out of contract in the summer, on a similar basis.
