Can He Keek It? Yes, He Can! - Ipswich Town News

Town fans can expect to see plenty more of striker Frank Nouble on social networking websites.

Nouble and team-mate Jay Emmanuel-Thomas have attracted plenty of online followers in recent weeks with a series of keeks — short videos — and in particular one that featured the pair rapping.

But Nouble laughed: "There’s no record deal yet. Actually, neither Jay or I would claim to be rappers — it’s just banter, random stuff.

"I guess we just have too much down time. You know, nothing better to do. We were playing on the PlayStation and saw some keeks. We just thought ‘Why not?’ and did it for some fun.

"We put one up the other day with some of the Junior Blues just dancing around. People like to see that sort of stuff — there is nothing negative that has come from it — and we’ll keep it going.”

Nouble has also shed some light on his use of the word ‘clack’, revealing: "It just means anything good and positive. For example, if I come back from the international break and score I’ll say it was a clack goal. It just means I’ve had a good day.

"It all started when I was playing FIFA on the PlayStation with my uncle. He was beating me something like 4-1 and a lot of my family were there. He was showing off with hand signals and getting in my face.

"He kept on saying clack and I picked it up from there. He’s got the bragging rights for it but I use it as part of my everyday language and on Twitter a lot.

"I like to interact with the fans and on Twitter I am just talking generally. They can get to know me better, see what sort of personality I am and the sort of guy I am.

"They haven’t seen that much of me on the pitch but even if I was playing every week I wouldn’t stop it. That’s just how I am and I will keep it going.”
