Supporters Club Praise for Generous Mings - Ipswich Town News

The ITFC Supporters Club have applauded young left-back Tyrone Mings for supplying tickets to yesterday’s game against Bolton to a fan on Twitter who had told him he was too “skint” to go to Portman Road.

Supporters Club chair Elizabeth Edwards told TWTD: "It's great to see a footballer making off pitch headlines for the right reasons.

"This is a great gesture by Tyrone and all the better that the fans were rewarded with a home win.”

Mings, who joined the Blues from Chippenham Town after a trial in December, has been praised by supporters of clubs throughout football and also former players, with ex-England and Arsenal man Ian Wright tweeting: "What a dude!”
