Striker Frank Nouble is fit and in contention for the Easter fixtures against Leeds and Millwall, having missed the 1-0 home victory over Bolton before the international break with a minor hamstring injury.
Nouble told the club site: "Obviously it was frustrating for me to pick up the injury and then miss the Bolton game but the lads were terrific to get the win at home.
"The injury has cleared up now and I’m back in full training. It’s another big game for us against Leeds on Saturday and I want to get back in the side and show people what I can do.”
Central defender Tommy Smith was back at Playford Road yesterday having been rested for the second of New Zealand’s two matches after they confirmed their place in a World Cup play-off via the first.
Leeds boss Neil Warnock says he hopes to have strikers Steve Morison and Ross McCormack available for the Easter fixtures after calf and head injuries respectively.
"With any luck they’ll train with us tomorrow,” he said. "They’re both pretty close and Steve’s been doing a bit of running so his calf’s improving. He’ll be touch and go for Saturday.
"It’s a busy time with two games in 48 hours so we need everyone available.”
