Nouble: Everyone Will Play Their Part - Ipswich Town News

Striker Frank Nouble believes Town’s strength in depth will come into play during the final six games of the season. The 21-year-old, who joined the Blues from Wolves in January, was one of five players brought into a much-changed side for Monday’s 0-0 draw at Millwall.

Nouble told the club site: "It’s good to have competition in the squad. It keeps everybody on their toes, which can only be a good thing and we have a wide range of strikers at the club, who are all different types of players, which is the pleasing thing.

"Obviously you’ve got me, Didsy [David McGoldrick], Murph, Chops, Macca — a real blend of differing strikers and that variety is definitely needed.

"I’m sure every player will play their part during the last few weeks of the season and it’s good to have fresh players available.”

Meanwhile, keeper Scott Loach — who has kept back to back clean sheets since returning to the Town team after loanee Stephen Henderson went back to West Ham - says he’s determined to establish himself as the club’s long-term number one: "I've played 190 games in the Championship and why can't I continue that with Ipswich? I've earned my chance and now I've got to take it."

Elsewhere, ex-Blues defender and striker Richard Naylor has been named the assistant to caretaker-manager Neil Redfearn in the wake of Neil Warnock’s departure from Leeds United. Naylor, 36, has been working as the Whites’ U18s coach this season.
